Major issue is most of the staff have changed over from the previous dealer and some are really just not worth being considered as humans. To my relief one such Service Advisor who can be a role model for any liar, is not at this centre of PPS Kolkata but is still a part of the entire Kolkata team. Major problem is I guess with the problem resolving/mediating CRMs (Customer Relationship Manager) who I have found out to be of the same nature as previous OSL people - lying, audacity and adamant
Overall for all my years of VW ownership experience - service centre/workshop - just hell / nightmarish.
Instance 2 : Car was showing an warning of "Check oil level". The car was sent to service centre and service personnel informed there is no engine oil issue and it was an " Electrical error". Surprisingly the warning kept on coming and after few days being checked by an alternate service, it was noted that oil level was indeed low and required oil level top up.
Being a VW customer, I have become highly apprehensive about competency of service engineers and advisors here. If simple issues like a low engine oil or wheel balance requirement cannot be identified by the service technicians, don't know how they would deal with any critical issues of these hi tech cars. VW and PPS may critically consider requisite technical training and competency development of technicians and service advisor working here.

There is a misguiding insistence of google review by QR codes throughout the counters even before service completion for an attempt of artificial increase of overall rating of the service centre.
I was looking for appropriate action for this irresponsible behaviour and not any free/concession from VW authorized service centre
But the after sale service experience is very bad. One small accident happened with our Taigun and I submit the car to service centre. Almost 2 weeks crossed but still I didn't get it back. Every time I have to call them, and they promised to call back, which is a myth. After sale service is a big thing after investing so much money. Only sale cant not satisfy ones mind. So please think twice before purchasing Volkswagen In Kolkata.
